Do you have a minimum order quantity?
No minimums. Order one patch or a thousand, we love all order sizes.
How much does a custom patch cost?
It depends on size, coverage, and backing, so we don’t quote pricing until we see your design. Use our patch calculator for an instant estimate, or send us your design for an exact quote.
Is there a digitizing fee?
Yes, a one-time $15 fee per design. If you ever reorder the same design, we already have your file, no extra digitizing fee.
How long until I get a quote?
We send quotes within 24 hours of sending your design.
What payment methods do you accept?
Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, or a payment link through our website.
Do you match exact brand colors?
We match your brand and design’s colors as closely as we can. If we don’t have a perfect thread match in stock, we’ll order your custom color for you, free of charge.
What file format should I send my design in?
Any common file type works, PNG, JPG, PDF, AI, whatever you have. Even a blurry screenshot. Every design is digitized by hand, so we can work from just about anything.
Turnaround Time & Shipping
How long does production take?
Standard production is 7-10 business days from payment. Rush production (3-5 days) is available for an additional 10%.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes we do!
What if I want to reorder my design later?
We keep your files on hand, so reorders are quick with no digitizing fee. Just reach out by email whenever you need a restock. We’ll get it handled quickly.
Patches & Backing
What's the difference between iron-on and Hook backing?
Iron-on is a permanent heat-seal application, great for most garments. Hook is for patches that need to come on and off, common on uniforms, tactical gear, or security vests.
Can I iron my custom patches onto my own hats?
We don’t recommend ironing patches on hats. Hats don’t lay flat, so the adhesive won’t cure evenly causing it to not stick. For hats, we can apply your custom patches with a commercial hat press instead, or sew them onto hats.
How do I care for a patch after it's applied?
Just let it be. If you have to wash the garment, use COLD water & DO NOT machine DRY! Hand-washing is best, but a delicate cycle works too.
What do the 50%, 75%, and 100% coverage options mean?
It’s how much of the patch is covered in embroidery thread versus fabric background. 50% is the most minimal and economical option, 75% balances detail and cost, and 100% gives you the most thread coverage and detail. Typically we can pick the coverage that matches your budget. 100% coverage is used for highly detailed designs.
Direct Embroidery & Custom Hats
What's the difference between a patch and direct embroidery?
A patch is made separately, then applied to your item. Direct embroidery is stitched straight into the fabric itself. Patches offer more flexibility with detail and color, direct embroidery gives a clean, classic look.
What is puff embroidery?
A premium option that raises the stitching for extra texture and a bolder, 3D look.
Do I need to provide my own apparel?
Nope, we can source hats, uniforms, and other blanks for you, or you’re welcome to send your own. Either works.
Digitizing / set up
What is digitizing?
Digitizing is turning your design into an embroidery file. Every order must be digitized before we can make it!
Do you use AI to digitize designs?
No. Every file is digitized by hand, no AI, no auto-digitizing software.
Will I see my design before it's made?
Yes. Once your file is digitized, we send a screenshot to approve or request changes before anything gets stitched.
Wholesale
Do you offer wholesale pricing?
Yes, two different ways. The first is through our Wholesale Vendor Program. We partner with retail boutiques, corporate clients, event planners, and more, so you can offer custom embroidery to your own customers under your own name, with no minimums. The second option is our percentage discounts that start at 50 patches. The higher the quantity ordered, the higher the discount. These discounts are baked into our patch calculator so you can see an instant estimate.
