If your patch size includes a fraction, pricing will be rounded to the nearest whole inch. For example, a 3.25 inch patch is priced at the 3 inch rate, but your patch will still be produced at the exact size requested.

Embroidery Coverage Example

Embroidery coverage refers to how much of the patch surface is filled with thread. 

50% coverage means roughly half of the patch fabric background remains visible, allowing for a lighter, more minimal look and a lower price point. 

75% coverage offers a fuller appearance with more thread detail while still leaving small areas of the base fabric exposed. 

100% coverage completely fills the patch with embroidery, creating a bold, highly textured finish with maximum thread detail. Each tier is priced accordingly, with 50% coverage being more economical and 100% coverage reflecting the additional stitching involved. 

One option isn’t better than the other — the right choice depends on your design goals, overall aesthetic, and budget. Please refer to the example image illustrating 50%, 75%, and 100% embroidery coverage. For the 50% and 75% examples, the white areas represent the visible base white fabric of the patch rather than stitched thread.
